2015 Reserve Mourvedre
This is a full-bodied and rustic wine that originated in Spain. An explosion of dark fruit and herbaceous aromas of black pepper and thyme. Maybe a little gamey, it falls on the very dark side of the red wine scale. Mourvedre pairs well with rich foods that help absorb the high tannins, such as beef short ribs, pork shoulder, barbequed foods, and pork sausage.
